GASPARILLA CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC.
CALL TO ORDER: President, Tom Voss, called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m., at the Gasparilla Cabana, 160 Jose Gaspar Drive, Englewood, Florida, the location specified in the meeting notice.
CONFIRMATION OF PROPER MEETING NOTICE: Joyce Kelbaugh confirmed that the appropriate notice had been posted in accordance with the Association’s documents.
DETERMINATION OF A QUORUM: A quorum of the Board was established with five (5) directors in attendance: Tom Voss, President; Dave Hubbard, Treasurer; Joyce Kelbaugh, Secretary, Ron Hook, and Pat Hoyt. Kathy Waterhouse of Antares Group, Inc. was also present.
BUDGET: Dave Hubbard reviewed the proposed operating budget. There are no changes from what was presented at the November meeting. Some of the highlights are:
· Contingency has been reduced from $10,000 to $5,000.
· The landscape budget was increased $500 to $2000.
· The maintenance fee will be $295 per month which includes $30 reserve payment.
Following a general discussion about both the operating and reserve budgets the audience was asked for comments – there were none. A motion to approve the operating budget at $295.00 per month per unit with $30 going to the reserves was made by Dave Hubbard and seconded by Joyce Kelbaugh with the vote being unanimous. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to properly come before the Board at this meeting, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. All yes by voice vote. Meeting adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
